Privacy Policy

Live conversations between strangers cannot happen at camdiv.cam unless a little information flows through our systems. This policy walks through that information one category at a time, says what each piece is for, and shows the ways you can look at it, change it or get rid of it.

01

The information involved

Our habit is to hold on to as little as the features you touch genuinely require. How much of the list below applies comes down to which CamDiv features you use:

  • Sign-in essentials: the nickname you picked, how you log in (or the email behind it), the age you stated, plus language and display settings.
  • Anything you place on your profile by choice, for example a picture or a line about yourself, along with your following and follower lists.
  • What gets typed in text matches and in direct messages sent between members.
  • A match log noting the start time, the duration and whether the session was video, voice or text.
  • Coin and membership purchases with the receipt our payment processor returns. Your full card number is held by the processor alone.
  • Reports, whether filed by you or about you, and the notes a moderator writes while looking into one.
  • Diagnostic details: device model, browser version, a rough region guessed from your IP address, and crash reports.

02

Camera, microphone and live sessions

In a video or voice match, sound and picture stream straight to the other participant. We do not keep recordings of everyday sessions. If someone reports a session, moderators can review material tied to that report, such as typed messages or still images, in order to judge whether a rule was broken.

A browser prompt appears before CamDiv first touches the camera or microphone, and your yes can be taken back later through the browser’s site permissions. Text matches need neither device.

03

What we do with it

  • Pair you with a stranger and carry video, sound and messages between you.
  • Produce a translation of a typed message when you tap the translate button.
  • Keep coins, purchases and settings in sync across every device you sign in on.
  • Investigate reports, remove people who break the rules and look after members.
  • Track down faults, stop fraud and learn which parts of the site people rely on.
  • Write back when you contact support.

04

Who else gets to see it

A stranger you match with sees your nickname, age, country and language, together with anything you decide to type or show on camera. Your public profile is visible to other members.

Specialist companies host CamDiv, relay calls, run translation, take payments and count visits for us. They work under our instructions and for those jobs alone. Personal information is never sold to advertising networks or data resellers. Disclosure happens only under a binding legal order or to stop someone from being seriously hurt.

05

Retention

Account details stay for the life of the account. Match logs, reports and diagnostics are kept only for as long as safety work, fraud prevention, legal duties or bug fixing calls for, then erased or stripped of anything identifying. Purchase records can outlive that period when accounting or tax law insists.

06

Your choices

Profile details and settings can be edited at any time. To receive your data, fix it or close the account for good, write to [email protected] from the email or sign-in method tied to the account. Some places grant extra privacy rights by law, and we respect them wherever they apply.

CamDiv exists for adults. Information from anyone younger than 18 is not something we seek, and suspected minors lose their accounts.

07

Updates and questions

A meaningful change to this policy will come with a new date in the header above. CamDiv at camdiv.cam runs independently and has no connection to camdiv.com. Privacy questions are welcome at [email protected].
