Community Guidelines

Meeting strangers stays fun when everybody sticks to a handful of house rules. They cover each CamDiv chat, whether it runs on video, voice or text, and every direct message between members.

01

Be good company

Curiosity, a sense of humor and some patience matter most, particularly with people who are speaking a second language. When a chat is not clicking, tap next rather than turning unkind.

02

Off limits, always

  • Users under 18, and anything that sexualizes a child, which we pass to law enforcement.
  • Nudity, sex acts or explicit material on camera, over voice or in text.
  • Threats, harassment, hateful language or pushing someone toward self-harm.
  • Any scam, from pleas for cash to requests for gift cards or crypto.
  • Recording people without their consent, leaking their chats or posting their details.
  • Spam, promotion, outside links and efforts to lure members elsewhere for gain.
  • Posing as someone else, CamDiv staff included.

03

Look out for each other

Surnames, home addresses and workplaces should stay private, and nobody should be pushed to reveal theirs. The safety habits page offers a short checklist worth a read.

04

Flagging a problem

When someone breaks a rule, report them from inside the chat and block them. Moderators look at each report and take action. Extra context can be sent to [email protected].

05

Consequences

Penalties scale with how serious the breach was, from a warning through account limits and suspensions up to a lifetime ban. The gravest cases, above all anything touching on minors or threats of violence, may be referred to the police. Anyone who thinks we judged their account unfairly can appeal by email.
